The district is always excited about sponsoring Envirothon teams from our  high schools in the county each year. Burgin High School registers one or two teams & Mercer Senior High School registers three teams to attend the workshop, regional competition, and state competition. The workshop is designed to assist students in competing in the areas of Aquatics, Forestry. Soil, Wildlife, and Current Events. April 8 West Competition at Bernheim Forest (Bullitt County).

April 30  East Competition at Maywoods ( Garrard County).

May 18-19 State Competition at North Central 4H Camp ( Nicholas County).
